2010: Radial NIR

Measuring Pulp yield within annual increments

The paper below describes the development of our initial NIR calibration describing this approach as a proof-of-concept,  Based on 91 samples taken from 12 radial strips from 12 Eucalptus nitens trees growing in Tasmania, we show that this approach can provide high temporal and spatial information on how pulp yield and cellulose content vary seasonally and annually in these trees.
